On Tuesday, September 17, 2019, CSHP hosted the Fall Internship Workshop! We had 30 student in attendance to learn about inpatient internships from experienced WesternU students. We had 6 intern speakers, Celia Boone, Tracy Ly, Ken Cruz, Joe Castro, Danielle Do, and Stephy Lee from Kaiser Fontana Anticoagulation Clinic, Huntington Memorial, City of Hope, San Antonio Regional Hospital and Whittier Hospital Medical Center. This workshop started with each intern briefly introducing their responsibilities then the session was broken into small groups for discussions. Students had the opportunity to ask questions about becoming a successful inpatient intern and explore possible job openings.
