On Wednesday, February 13th, CSHP was happy to sponsor the seminar elective talk by Dr. Helen Feng, PharmD. Dr. Feng is a heart failure ambulatory care pharmacist at Kaiser Permanente. She spoke about what sets the ambulatory care pharmacy apart from community and inpatient pharmacies. She emphasized the relationship that pharmacists are able to develop due to the amount of time they spend counseling their patients on medication adherence and medication reconciliation. Dr. Feng inspired students to consider a career in ambulatory care.
