On Wednesday September 26th, CSHP held its annual Residency Roundtable where current PGY-1 residents sat down with our students over dinner and shared their experiences. The roundtable was a great opportunity for students to learn about how to prepare for a residency and what its like to be a successful resident in various programs. Two WesternU COP alumni, Dr. Gorby Singh and Dr. Melissa Nuesa, represented the Kaiser Permanente Riverside Medical Center. Dr. Kelli Shiroma, also a WesternU graduate, shared her insights as a WesternU/St. Mary Medical Center Acute Care pharmacy resident. Dr. Neeloufar Fakourfar and Dr. Cindy Chau represented WesternU residency programs in ambulatory care and community pharmacy respectively. Students were very grateful that the residents shared their time with us.
